VICRYL sutures are intended for use in soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in ophthalmic surgery, peripheral nerve adaptation and microsurgery for vessels less than 2 mm in diameter. Typical areas of use include: Fascia closure – due to the 28-day claim, subcutaneous fat, joint capsule, and uterus.
